Do you know how exhausting it is to have massive dreams? You spend every second of every day hoping for a big break, without knowing how exactly to bring one on. And you're willing to put in the work, too! You're happy to pay your dues and cross each individual barrier as you come upon it. Unfortunately, no one ever told you how many there were.
Dreams are important. They designate who we want to be in our lives, but they fail to tell us how to achieve that success. When I started writing as a 16 year old, I had absolutely no idea how difficult it would be to hold the first copy of my book. It's been nothing but research and work, all glorious and empowering work, but also despondent and discouraging. No one knows the extent you go through as an author until they get there themselves.
And now I have a website. It's been a wild ride to get one, too. Thousands of little details no one tells you about, yet again. Still, it's mine. There is nothing more precious than having something that's all yours. Something you can share with people. Something to entertain them. Something that brings tears of pride to your eyes.....
Because it finally made all that wishing worth it.
